Our Policies

Pricing: Our goal is to offer you the all the items you want at the best and most competitive prices possible, however, prices are subject to change without notice. 

Sales Tax: NJ residents are charged 7% state sales tax.

Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Bank Account payments through PayPal.

Backorders: We will notify you if any items in your order need to be backordered and notify you of an estimated shipping date. If there are shippable items in you order they will be shipped. If you wish to cancel your backordered items we will gladly issue a refund for those items minus the cost of shipping for any shippable items.

Shipping: We ship via the US Postal Service First Class Parcel or Priority Mail at actual cost dependent on your packaged order's weight and distance traveled. International orders are always welcome and will ship via USPS First Class or Priority International Mail. Please allow 7-14 business days, maximum, for arrival of orders shipped to the continental U.S. Please allow 14-21 business days, maximum, for arrival of orders shipped internationally. Some manufacturers build to order. This may increase the arrival time of your items. We will notify you if that is the case. Please allow 3-5 weeks for any BHI Publications items to ship from us as these items are special order items from the publisher and are not a normally stocked item.

Special Orders/Reservations: There is no deposit required for special orders or advance reservations/pre-orders, the total balance is due only at the time of your special order or reservation's arrival unless specified otherwise. Custom items, however, do require a deposit. The deposit amount for custom items will be specified in that item's description on the custom trains page and is due when your custom item is ordered with the remaining balance due upon completion and delivery of your custom item.

Returns/Refunds: We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. Please e-mail us or call us if you have any questions, concerns, or problems with your order. All returns and exchanges must be in original condition and must include all manuals, paperwork, packaging and the original sales receipt. The customer is responsible for all shipping & handling costs for returns. Please pack the merchandise carefully as we are not responsible for any lost or damaged items during return shipping. Shipping insurance is recommended. Upon receiving your return, the purchase price minus the original shipping & handling costs will be refunded. Defective items that are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty should be returned to the manufacturer. Please follow the manufacturer's guidelines for warranty work or replacement.
